UNICO
By developing its own automatic chronograph movement, Hublot wanted—as with all its creations—to create something First, Different and Unique. As the soul of the watch, this "open heart" movement reveals its completely redesigned architecture, featuring a double coupling system and a column wheel visible from the dial side, alongside a 72-hour power reserve. Its construction of 354 components has been simplified as much as possible to increase reliability and robustness.
CERAMIC
For Hublot, materials are an integral part of their watch design. They must complement the design, protect the movement and withstand the test of time. Therefore, the Manufacture has decided to use high-tech ceramic for specific bezels and cases—an ultra-tough and almost entirely scratch-proof material (diamond excepted) based on zirconium, sintered at very high temperatures.
